Le Moine et le Poisson, The Monk and the Fish is an animated short film made by Michaël Dudok De Wit in 1994. It was nominated for the Oscars and the BAFTA Film Award for best short animated film. The film was made using a cel animation technique, which nowadays is done with the assistance of computers. Michael used the tradition brush, Indian ink, and watercolour method. The music created by Serge Besset is based on La Follia by Corelli.
